Terms of Sale
and Returns.

Draft for review · 27 September 2026. Online payment is not yet active. A purchase request is not an order or payment. These terms will be checked against the live checkout before sales begin.

1. Artworks and editions

The shop offers original artworks, including paintings, drawings and sculptures, as well as editions or prints by Abraham Osorio, trading as Abraham O. Each product page gives the available description, dimensions, medium or print specification, price and edition information. Screen settings can affect how colours appear; statutory rights still apply if an item is faulty or not as described.

Purchase of a physical work does not transfer copyright or rights to reproduce or commercially exploit it. Copyright remains with Abraham Osorio or another credited rights holder where applicable. Commercial copying, scanning, distribution, licensing or reproduction requires prior written permission from the rights holder, except where the law permits it. A copyright assignment requires a separate written and signed agreement.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in GBP. Abraham Osorio is not currently VAT registered and does not charge UK VAT or issue VAT invoices. Standard packaging is included in the artwork price. Shipping and any specialist packing required for a work are quoted and agreed before payment. The buyer will see the full total before being asked to pay; no additional charge is made for choosing a payment method.

When checkout is enabled, payment will be processed through Stripe Checkout. Depending on eligibility and the options shown, customers may pay by card or PayPal. For individually quoted orders, a payment link or checkout will be provided for the agreed total. Work is dispatched only after payment is confirmed.

If an obvious listing error affects price or availability, we will contact the customer before accepting or fulfilling an order. If payment has been taken and a work cannot be supplied, we will refund it. A later price change will not alter an order already accepted at its agreed price.

3. Availability and order confirmation

An original artwork is one of a kind; an edition may have limited remaining copies. We confirm availability before accepting an order. A purchase request or shipping enquiry is not an accepted order. The point at which a paid order is accepted will be stated in the checkout and confirmation email when payment is enabled. If an item cannot be supplied after payment, we will notify the customer promptly and refund the item and related shipping paid for it.

4. Preparation and delivery

Orders are normally prepared and dispatched within seven business days after payment. Specialist packing or agreed framing may take longer; its estimated time and any extra packing charge will be disclosed before payment. Transit time varies by destination and carrier. We provide a delivery estimate before the order is placed and deliver within 30 days unless a different timeframe is agreed.

UK shipping is calculated for the work and destination; international shipping is quoted individually. The quote identifies the artwork price, any specialist packing charge and the shipping charge. We will not add an unagreed shipping or packing charge after the order is placed.

5. International orders

International buyers are responsible for import duties, destination taxes and carrier handling fees, unless a written quote expressly says otherwise. These charges are set by the destination authorities or carrier and may be due before delivery. Buyers should check local import requirements. Our obligations as seller, including proper dispatch and applicable consumer rights, still apply.

6. Delivery problems

Contact us promptly if a parcel is lost, damaged or appears to have been delivered incorrectly. Photographs of the work and packaging can help us investigate but are not a condition of statutory rights. Where we arrange delivery to a consumer, risk remains with us until the goods reach the consumer or a person they nominate, subject to applicable law. We will work with the carrier and provide the remedy required by law.

7. Cancellation and returns

For eligible distance purchases, a consumer may cancel without giving a reason from placing the order until 14 days after delivery. Email info@abrahamo.art with a clear statement of cancellation. An order number helps identify the purchase but is not required. If goods arrive separately, the statutory period may run from delivery of the last item.

After giving notice, return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days. We will provide the return address and practical packing instructions. The buyer pays the direct return cost for a change of mind, as disclosed before purchase. For works that cannot normally be returned by post, an estimated return cost must be provided before purchase. Protective packing and tracked, insured shipping are recommended. The buyer may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods, as permitted by law. Original packaging is helpful but is not an absolute condition of cancellation.

For a full eligible cancellation, we refund the price paid and standard outward delivery, but not the extra cost of an upgraded delivery option chosen by the buyer. Refunds are made by the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of their return, whichever is earlier. If the goods have not been dispatched, the applicable deadline runs from notice of cancellation. Statutory rights for faulty goods remain unaffected.

Model cancellation form

You can cancel by any clear statement; using this form is optional. Copy the details below into an email to info@abrahamo.art. We will provide a postal return address and instructions when responding.

To Abraham Osorio (Abraham O): I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods: [artwork or edition]. Ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name of consumer: [name]. Address of consumer: [address]. Date: [date]. Signature: [only if sent on paper].

8. Faulty or misdescribed items

If a work or print is faulty, damaged on delivery or not as described, contact info@abrahamo.art. We will assess the issue and provide the refund, repair, replacement or other remedy required by law. There is no 14 day deadline for reporting a fault, and the buyer is not automatically charged to return a faulty item. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights.

9. Website use and changes

Text, photographs and artwork images are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Permission is required for reproduction or commercial use except where law permits it. Third party links are provided for convenience and have their own terms and privacy practices. Future updates to these terms apply to future orders; the version available when an order is placed governs that order unless a change is agreed or required by law.
