Who handles your information

Abraham Osorio, trading as Abraham O, handles information you submit through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email info@abrahamo.art.

Information and purposes

For enquiries, we collect your name, email, enquiry type, message and any location you choose to provide so we can respond. For artwork purchase requests, we collect your name, email, destination country, postcode, selected artwork and optional notes to check availability, prepare a delivery quote and discuss a possible purchase. These submissions do not take payment or create an order.

Newsletter registration is optional. We record your email, selected language, registration date, the form used and the version and date of your agreement to receive occasional emails about projects, exhibitions and available works. Contact and purchase enquiries do not subscribe you. Email confirmation and campaign delivery are not connected yet. Older registrations without these consent records must be reviewed before use in campaigns.

To limit abusive form submissions, we temporarily count requests using a one-way hash of a network identifier supplied by the website host. The stored counter does not contain the plain IP address and expired counters are removed periodically.

Why we use it

We use your newsletter registration on the basis of your consent. We use enquiry and purchase request details to respond and, where applicable, take steps you request before a contract. Temporary abuse-prevention counters support our legitimate interest in securing the forms. We do not sell your information.

Storage and recipients

Form records are held in the website database, accessible through a private administration area. ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare provide hosting and database infrastructure. No newsletter campaign provider is connected to this implementation. Before adding email delivery, payment services or new hosting, we will review provider agreements, processing locations and any applicable international-transfer safeguards and update this notice.

We retain enquiry and purchase-request records while needed to answer or manage the request, and longer only where an applicable record-keeping obligation requires it. Newsletter registrations are retained while subscribed. Unsubscribed records are restricted to preventing further marketing and managing privacy requests; they are reviewed and kept only while needed for that purpose. Expired abuse-prevention counters are removed periodically.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, object to relevant uses, or withdraw newsletter consent. Email info@abrahamo.art. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are concerned about how your information is handled.

Cookies and browser storage

The portfolio does not include advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts in its application code. Language is carried in page links rather than saved as a persistent browser preference. A previous language preference stored by an older version is removed when the page loads.

The shop uses sessionStorage under abraham-shop-bag to remember artwork IDs in your bag during your tab session. The homepage uses sessionStorage under newsletter-seen after you dismiss the newsletter invitation, to avoid showing it again during that tab session. These entries do not contain your email. You can clear them in your browser’s site-data settings; clearing the bag entry resets your bag. Browsers may restore session data when restoring tabs.

This version is hosted through ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare. The hosting layer may use security and sign-in cookies, separately from the portfolio code. A response from this host included the Cloudflare __cf_bm security cookie with a 30-minute expiry. These technologies may change when the site moves to independent hosting, and this notice will be reviewed then. External links, including Instagram and press articles, take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Newsletter

A Brevo integration is prepared but not activated. Once configured, it will send a confirmation email before adding new subscribers to campaign lists. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Campaign unsubscribe events will update the website’s unsubscribe records. Provider and sender setup must be completed before this service starts.

You can withdraw newsletter consent by emailing info@abrahamo.art. We mark your registration as unsubscribed and retain the minimum record needed to respect that choice; it must not be used for campaigns. You can also request deletion. A new registration made by you can replace a previous withdrawal.
